With the installation "The chicken takes off", iokke stages the passage of this building into the next form and function. The change has partially enforced, here staged with feather-covered walls. The fragile phase of the transition fascinates iokke. The transition comes unexpectedly and from the non- and takes place in our culture on time and faster than the wind. Against this background, the installation is to be interpreted as a praise for the beauty of metamorphosis.
